What's the latest your DC has been picked up/dropped off?

Yesterday was DS first time taking the bus. Pick up was right on time and we saw that DS is only the second one in the bus, so I assume it will be close the scheduled time every day. But in the afternoon his bus dropped him off 50 minutes late. I was freaking out!! I know to expect delays the first week or two, but I was out there waiting in the rain for an hour. Is this typical for the beginning of the year?

I've been pretty lucky with the bus so far! The longest wait was 10 minutes in the morning and about 20 minutes in the afternoon (which felt like a lifetime!). Luckily that only happened once.

50 minutes!! Wow!

We are the first stop so we are pretty much always right on time in the morning. In fact, yesterday she was *early* and we were running late, and so we missed the bus!

However, yesterday afternoon the bus dropped her off about 25 minutes late. We were outside in the rain waiting the whole time and it made me so nervous! I was not happy about it, but I know that during the first week they have a lot to work out with the busses so I am willing to be patient, I just hope it isn't always that way!

I asked the bus driver if I should expect him to be as late today and he said they should closer to schedule, so I'll go out on time and hopefully won't have to wait as long. It better not be more the 15-20 minutes late today. I don't want to be that annoying mom, but the paper work days no child is to be on the bus longer then 49-45 minutes. Given he was 50 minutes late yesterday, the poor kid was on the bus for almost an hour and a half!
