When does a Mom move to this board?

Pre school? Nursery School? Kindergarten?

Re: When does a Mom move to this board?

Yes

I think it really depends on the questions, and your own POV. IMO, Kindergarten definitely, Pre-K is valid, and if DC is in preschool, I wouldn't "move" here, but there are still questions that are valid (snacks, backpacks, b-day party invites for the whole class, etc).

ETA: You don't need to "move" here at any time. My youngest went to K today, but I still post and read the Parenting forum. There's still so much info to give/get over there. This section is really for questions more related to school and/or slightly older DC, but it definitely doesn't preclude you from hanging out in the more popular Parenting section.

I was wondering the same thing! Tomorrow DD goes to school with her very own backpack and lunch box for the first time. It's pre-school, but to me backpacks and lunch boxes = school aged.

And I will be taking pictures. Chat Icon

IMO, when they feel this board pertains more to them than the other board or when they have questions about school aged children (whether it's their own or someone else's).

ITA.

No set time...just when you feel your kids are so "old" you can't remember the baby years anymore and can't answer half the questions on the Parenting board. Chat Icon
