OBGYN recommendations
HI Everyone!! So I am 6 weeks 5 days along now, adn being "discharged" from Fertility specialist next week  They told me to call my OB to make my 1st OB appointment, and I called and found out she no longer delivers so now I don't know what to do!! Does anyone have a good recommendation for someone affiliated with Winthrop? (preferably a female, but I don't care as long as they are good, adn hopefully the office waits aren't too long- I hear horror stories of 2 hour + waits in a waiting room) TIA!!

Congratulations!
I have a great OB in garden city but not a woman.
Dr. Plancher delivered my DS and two of my friends babies. He is patient and listens to your questions and answers them all. I never feel rushed. I never wait more than 10 minutes! Also Sonos are done in office and they have a 3D machine. Number: (516) 222-1033

Dr John Biordi (not female  ) but affliated with Winthrop and he is awesome as well as the whole staff

Do a search on these boards on Dilena...hands down THE best!
He delivered my DD and he is just the sweetest, calmest man. I honestly can't imagine anyone but him delivering my next baby so hopefully he's on call when I am in labor.
His office is in Garden City and he delivers at Winthrop.
I have never had more of a 15 min wait in his office and he is popular and books up but I always managed to get great appt times with him....7:30 at night b/c DH wanted to come to all appts.
There are no females in the practice though. Other 2 dr's are LoPresti and Nadell and they are both great as well.
