Upcoming 5K's in Suffolk???

Since January I have lost 90 pounds. I have worked very hard on figuring out why I had gained so much weight and am finally getting into good health. I still have a tremendous amount of weight to lose but I am moving forward.

I would like to attempt to walk a 5K to prove to myself how far I came. When I was sick I actually stopped walking for 2 months so to be healthy enough to do this is a blessing.

Any suggestions of where I can start looking?

Personally, i am running Oct 1 Half Marathon, Oct 16 Sayville 5k, Oct 23 Smithtown 5k, Oct 29 commack 5k, Nov 13 Lindenhurst 10k, Nov 20 kings park 5k or turkey trot haven't decided yet.
