ExerSaucer vs. Jumparoo

What's everyone getting and why? I feel like to get both is unnecessary b/c they're so big and bulky. So I need to choose either, or.

BTDT, please don't hesitate to chime in!Chat Icon

Re: ExerSaucer vs. Jumparoo

Not BTDT, but based on BTDT moms I went with the Jumperoo. I think it'll be more fun for her since she can jump around in it as well and it's not just stationary. I personally liked the concept of the Jumperoo better and I know a lot of moms who agreed.

Re: ExerSaucer vs. Jumparoo

I felt the same way and only purchased the exersaucer. Then we went to a friends house who had the jumperoo and DS went wild for it, so we bought him one too. We have the exersaucer that works in three stages. DS was able to enjoy it from when he was a NB to when he was walking, so I felt like that was a better investment. Honestly you can't go wrong with either IMO.

BDTD friends suggested the Jumperoo. I trust them and went with it.

Definitely the Jumperoo! IMO, they can do more with it. My son used his nonstop from about 4 months to 10/11 months.

Same here! I couldn't have lived without the Jumperoo.

Re: ExerSaucer vs. Jumparoo

I have an exersaucer and a jumper but not the jumparoo...the one that goes in the doorway. DD loves it.

Re: ExerSaucer vs. Jumparoo

We got both for the boys. They liked the exersaucer much better. We also got one that transitioned to an activity table once they got older. They used it until they were 13mo. With the jumperoo, I feel like they outgrew it much earlier. IMO, the exersaucer is a better investment.

Re: ExerSaucer vs. Jumparoo

DS LOVED LOVED LOVED, did I mention he LOVED the jumperoo? He spent a good deal of time in that. He could go in it a lot sooner than the exersaucer. But once he got a little bigger, he did like the exersaucer a lot. Its a tough call, but the jumperoo is very exciting for them. Man, I wish I filmed him in the thing. Whenever he'd get a little excited he'd start jumping like a little madman in the thing, I can still hear the music of it in my head. Chat Icon

I registered for the Jumparoo and got it and the 3-stage exersaucer at my shower. I preferred the concept of the exersaucer and think it will grow with baby so I returned the Jumparoo. Our house is too small to have kept both.

My DC loved the exersaucer and hated the jumperoo. It was hours of entertainment!!

Re: ExerSaucer vs. Jumparoo

We originally had only the exercauser for DS and then I bought the jumperoo when he was about 5-6 months old. He loved both. We eventually brought the jumperoo to my moms and that is where it is now. They do take up a lot of space but it is a nice change of pace for them. DS is too big for it but one princess arrives, she will use it there.

Re: ExerSaucer vs. Jumparoo

I can't decide either. I don't want the house crowded with baby stuff so I'd like to only get one. However I read great things about both of them so I'm torn.

Eh, I'll probably just put both on the registry and see what I get.

Re: ExerSaucer vs. Jumparoo

With DD #1, we only bought the jumperoo. She did use the exersaucer when she was at daycare though.

we only had an exersaucer. It had 3 stages so we got a lot of use out of it!
