Bruising after Egg Retrieval
Hi Ladies - I had an egg retrieval last Monday and started to notice a little bit of bruising around my belly button towards the end of last week. The bruise looks to be getting darker - although thank goodness has not grown in size. I was wondering if anyone else has had this. I still have some bloating and gas, but nothing too painful. I'm just scared that it's some sort of internal bleeding (don't think i bumped into anything). Any thoughts?

Re: Bruising after Egg Retrieval
I had my retrieval on Fri, but have not noticed any bruising. Try calling your nurse, just to be sure. Good luck!

Re: Bruising after Egg Retrieval - Updated
So I went to see my doctor for a check up and she thought the bruising was weird too, but since it was getting lighter she wasn't too concerned.
We did an ultrasound and my ovaries are still enlarged. The blood tests revealed that both my progesterone and estrogen were high and that probably wasn't going to get a period until next week (we opted for FET due to risk of OHSS).
For those who did the egg retrieval and did not transfer back the same cycle, how long did it take for you to get your period after the retrieval? I'm looking forward to fitting in my pants again soon...
