I am stopping my meds on Saturday (taking Procardia to stop contractions) so I am hoping that something happens SOON after that!

Hi Ladies! I haven't posted too much but wanted to send some positive vibes to the Oct. ladies (I was an '08 bride too- minibride08).
Went to the Dr. for 37 week apt. last Fri 9/30. Nothing going on (this is my 2nd DC- DD is 2 yrs). She said see you next week- C-section scheduled for 10/12 (I was due 10/17). Routine C b/c DD was a C. Got home, cried to DH haha that I was so ready and actually wanted to have some sort of labor symptoms. Later that night/ early Sat my water broke. So, 3am we went to hospital- contractions began (every 10 mins or so). Progressively got stronger and by the time my doc got to hospital and we started the C section I was contracting every 2-3 minutes! Thomas David was born 9:35am 10/1- 8.96lbs and 20 inches!! Dr. said good thing I didn't do the Vbac b/c my uterus was so thin (maybe b/c he was so big?) could have been a good chance of uterine rupture. Here's a pic of my little Tommy Meatball

Hi ladies DS is here I posted a thread and will post a birth story later but he arrived on oct 6 th , 8.7 pcs and he is an absolute angel
Dh and I are in love.
Labor was...okay ...contractions are insane. Epi was a dream. No meeds were needed and though I had about 9 hrs of painful contractions only pushed for one hour!
Recovery has been awesome, not too much pain at all. They did need to stitch me but I am walking and moving fine. Breastfeeding is going well also ..knock wood.
Will add more later.....come October babies
