Coworkers who constantly talk!!!!!!

My coworker is driving me insane We work in a relatively small office and he sits only 10 feet from me. He has diarrhea of the mouth is seriously the only way to explain it. He will constantly just start babbling to himself, "what is this?....oh look at this on my desk? ....this is a paperrrr....do you see this Anaaaa?.....its a paperrr................(long pause).......wow, my pen!..........hmm doot doot doooot....Anaaaa, it's Mondayyyyyy.............................(insert pause)....my chair is too high....let me fix my chair....hmmm so......." <-- THIS is making me insane! I don't know how to make him stop. I've put on the music at my computer but he's so close and distracting to me. If i'm trying to write a proposal he'll just start talking to me and I will say, "i'm sorry i'm busy right now" and he'll just continue talking to himself. "oh...you're busy?.....Ana's busy........hmmm......ok what do we have to do now? oh ok I have to call so and so...doot dooott...."

I even go as far as saying, 'you're talking to yourself' and he goes oh yea. It still continues. I'm going to get up and scream. Please help!

My co-worker does the same. I don't mind it once in awhile and even join in, but I swear she just likes to listen to herself talk. She started asking me about a book that's on my desk and halfway through explaining what it was about, she started telling me about the book she's reading. So now, everytime she cuts me off, I just turn back to my computer and work. And same thing when I just don't feel like engaging in conversation. You can get REALLY good at tuning someone out! lol!

Omg sounds like some serious undiagnosed psych issues there. I would be up a tree with a dipsh!t like that next to me! Really just work on tuning out and doing your work. Id start not speaking to him at all if thats possible.
