Puppy name for Newfoundland
We are getting a male Bronze Newfoundland and I'm trying to come up with names. I don't want cutesy names. Something majestic or that goes with that Breed.
I only thought of one so far Thor.

I had a Newfoundland mix growing up.. such a good, big boy!!
His name was Brutus.

Names can be such a tough thing. When it came to naming my first GSD I went through every Disney movie I owned. He ran like Simba but was dark like Scar and I didn't want to give him a bad guy's name. When I brought him to the vet for his first visit he didn't have a name. It was so embarrassing when they called us in. They used my last name and said dog. I wanted to cry. Once we got in there the vet started playing with him and commented on his ears which were exceptionally large and said, look, those ears, they're like radar. And that was how the name was born. Radar it was!! Of course when I got home I suddenly liked Yoda, but believe it or not, Radar was really fitting for him.
I'd wait and see what names pop into your head when you have your furry baby in your arms.

Kuma (Japanese.... pronounced "kooma".. means Bear). We almost called our Bull Mastiff that name
But ended up with
Maximus (max in short)
