Feeling Inspired!

I just thought I would share on here (since not many of my "real" friends" are into fitness) how inspired I am! I started working with a new trainer. The nutritionist/training company we use is all online based. I still have the same nutritionist, but my trainer left the company and it might been the best thing for me. I started workign wtih a woman who I had been in contact with and we really hit it off. She is AMAZING! She is obviously a certified trainer and nutritionist but she also has degrees in psychology and specializes in clients with eating disorders etc. It has been the BEST thing for me. She totally understand my fears and is helping me work through things while I train/maintain/diet in hopes of participating in my first fitness competition. My workouts have gotten so much better and I am just feeling great in the gym!

Over the past month, my nutritionist has had me increase my food intake VERY slowly. It has caused me great anxiety as I am finally feelng comfortable in my own skin. His logic is that he wants to slowly increase my metabolism so that when I have to diet down for the competition I can be doing that on the greatest amount of food possible. It makes total sense but anytime I see that scale increase I panic. I am trying to embrace the fear and let go and trust that this is the right thing to do. The scale has been up slightly but I know it's due to the extra carbs/water/glycogen and nfat but its hard for me sometimes.

Anyway, I took progress pictures today and compared them to a few weeks ago and despite the food increases I actually see good things happening! I am SO excited to take this journey into fitness competing and am hoping this will help me lose some of my anxiety/disordered eating habits!!

Sorry for the long post, I am just super inspired and thought I could share with you ladies!

Great to hear an update, and so happy for you! It definitely sounds like a tough training/eating schedule in order to be in a competition, and I really admire your dedication. Keep up the great work!

So far it hasn't been any different than what I had been doing..>I'm actually eating more food which is good! I'm sure as I get closer to the competition that will change! lol

Re: Feeling Inspired!

Ok here it is...I figured I would just post one...I didn't do any "posing" that;s for the next round apparently! lol

Don't mind the terrible face..or the ghostly pale skin!

I am trying to feel good considering I have increased food and am trying not to panic about gaining!

And I can never get them upright! Sorry!
