Give me strength!!!.....
Going back to work on Monday after being off on maternity leave since June 9th!!! 
Luckily, I love my school and colleauges and was lucky to get a .75 position with my district this year so I am off a day and a half per week, but sooo sad to leave my 2 y.o. and 4 month old.

Good luck!
I went back the last week of October 2 years ago and it was the best time of year to take a maternity leave! I loved having fall with my baby, but the cold weather is coming and there's less to do.
My students were already in a routine, but the year was still new enough that I was able to bond with them despite the later start.
Just think you have a few days off in November to make it an easy transition month, too!
