Once Upon a Sundae in Oceanside

I'm thinking of having my son's 4th birthday here. Has anyone been there for a party for a boy? The place is ADORABLE but don't want it to be too girly.

My nephew went to a party there last year and it seemed really fun. Not too girly from the pictures I saw. They made sundaes, did arts and crafts, played with a parachute and some other stuff.

I had my DDs 2nd bday there and was just at a 2nd bday there the other week....I'm not a fan. I don't think they keep the kids entertained. It's a tight space and the party was very disorganized

I can honestly say I had a hard time finding a party place I thought my 3 yr. old DD would enjoy (she tends to be shy and overwhelmed at large bouncy places and the like and also has a peanut allergy). We had our DD's 3rd birthday here this past weekend and I was more than thrilled. The kids were engaged the whole time and the workers even made sure my late guests got caught up! I didn't realize they were peanut free and brought in my own ice cream and cold pizza for my DD. The owner quickly let me know my DD was safe here and even took the time to let me read the labeling on the products they use! I agree at 2 years old, maybe a Gymboree type place may be better suited due to attention span but our guests 3-7 really enjoyed themselves (including her 2 older brothers)! Now...where to go next year?!

As a guest my DD had fun but I spoke with the Mom after and she said they were awful to deal with which I think you'd want to know if you are considering it. Also we tried approaching them for a fundraiser to contribute and had a lot of trouble communicating so I tend to believe what this Mom told me.
