Sooo excited! Going to start a cake blog...would you guys follow it?
My friend suggested I start a blog of the cool cakes i have made over the years. I'm so excited to start this project!! I will let you guys know when it is up and ready!!
Does anyone have a blog right now? Do you have any tips for me?

I think I'm going to do it through blogspot, but buy my own domain.
With the ads, do you only make money if people click on the ad, or just if they see your page with the ad? I'm doing this for a creative outlet, but since I'm unemployed I might as well try to make some money in the process.

I do mine through blogger. I started out with a .blogspot name until I really got into the groove of it and was sure I wanted to keep with it and recently bought my domain. I used google ads in the beginning but it didn't generate much. I switched to a different advertiisng platform which brings in the majority of my readers. I get quarterly checks from them.

This is very cool! I actually just started to put together my blogspot yesterday! I'm going to hold off on a domain name for now, like you said, until I'm sure I can/want to keep up with it.
