How/When did you test/find out?

I'm in month 1 of TTC, haven't tested yet...wondering how you ladies approach it...

Do you test with DH's knowledge, or on your own and then surprise DH with results?

Do you wait to see if AF is late, or test sooner?

wheni was where you are at..may moons ago ..i was a testing lunatic and i had a onsie i bought to tell dh when i got that bfp..almost 2 years later,IF treatments and mc's..takes the fun out

but.....for you at this time i can tell u to wait till 12 dpo but you wont listen ..i would say def def not before 10 dpo bc most likely u r setting yourself up for disappointment when you could still get that bfp,kwim?

i think testing with dh is so cute and i also love the surprise to him if u r testing alone..cant go wrong either way

This is also our first month TTC, and according to mymonthlycycles.com, I could have tested as early as yesterday, if I had a 28 day cycle. Last month was 33 days, so we are waiting until Thanksgiving morning to test. We are actually going to be out of state at DH's parents house, where we have our own room and bathroom, so we're going to be a bit sneaky and have to control our excitement if it's a BFP!! (We don't want to tell everyone right away)

As far as doing it with DH, we've discussed it, and he definitely wants to be there. He's trying to quit smoking, and had been doing better, but I caught him a few times this weekend. I told him that if I catch him smoking again, he can't test with me, and that seems to be working!

I always test sooner and w/o DH...I want to be able to shout with glee that we are pregnant!!! I want him to be surprised!!!

I always test with him home and he knows I am doing it... or is ir in bed so i leave it on the nightstand and wait the 5 minutes. Since its our baby, I really want us to find out together.

Haven't tested yet, but the tests are in the medicine cabinet patiently waiting. DH and I agreed that we'd test together and that we won't test until AF is late. This is month 3 of TTC and we're hoping for a Christmas BFP!

I stopped testing about 6 months ago lol... after doing this for so long, you know your body pretty well so Ive been able to hold out until AF arrives. But WHEN the moment comes and I am late, I will test w/o him. There's too much pressure lol.
Id love to think of a cute way to tell him. We have a fave restaurant that we go to celebrate everything.. I may ask to go to dinner there that night. He knows my cycles so well though that he might figure it out
