Re: What is your schedule like?
I'm due in August and we both work full time. DH has a better schedule than I do, he's a fireman so when does 24 hour shifts he will be home more than I will. He also has sidework though that we rely on and we will definitely need that $$ once the baby is here! My commute is going to get a lot longer as we are moving closer to family. We're very lucky, though, since we have family that is going to help us out with the baby so we don't have to worry about day care. There's no perfect time, but we felt ready. We don't have a lot of money, but we will make it work.

Re: What is your schedule like?
throughout this thread,we all agree, we dont have much, we both (dh&dw)work full time & we are all not sure if there is ever a right time. We all are committed to making it work with having a child and that is wonderful. The support is great

Re: What is your schedule like?
I am sooo glad to see other people with crazy schedules. I keep debating that we are just being selfish by TTC. I work full time and go to school part time nights. My DH also works a full time and part time job. However, I will be home weekends, and he can be home in the evening when I am at school. Day Care will be a must for now. The reason I am going to school, is so I can make better money working 3 12 hour shifts a week, which will help greatly, but since I am only going part time, it will be almost 5 years for me to finish , and I just do not want to wait that long to TTC, I want to be working on number TWO by then, LOL!! Our ONE saving Grace, is that DH mom wants to help us. She wants to retire sooner than later, and help us take care of the baby. So we shall see....
Never a perfect time....and things always having a way of working out!!

Re: What is your schedule like?
We both work FT... and I am almost 1/2 way done with my MBA... still going. DH is in law enforcement and works every other week nights..... makes TTC difficult..... but, we are committed to making it work...... some nights I will wait up late and some mornings he will get up early!!!
We both are VERY ready.....and excited.... I know it wont be easy if and when a baby comes, but we will make it work...

Re: What is your schedule like?
We both work ft then I do real estate on the side. My job is 9-5, M-F absolutely no OT as I work for the state and my dh works in Brooklyn, 6am-2pm so he leaves at 5 and get home about 4pm.
We both are very ready and I plan on puttin on using day care and then the wknds I have to work he will take care of the baby since its usually not an all day or night thing.
My goal is to have the real estate up and running in 2yrs so I can quit the state and just do that and spend more time with a child.
