Toddler boys shoes
To put it bluntly I'm cheap and I want to buy ONE pair of shoes for DS this season, they're expensive and he grows out of them so quickly. He does have a pair of winter/snow storm type boots. I want to know what shoe is your 2yr old wearing on a daily basis (that goes with everything. (rt now he wears his crocs but its getting a bit too chilly for that now).

Re: Toddler boys shoes
I got E way too many pairs of shoes this fall but if I limited myself to one I would probably go with something like this because it can be dressed up or down:
Stride rite @ 6pm
I also got E a pair of blue suede sneakers that could go sporty or be dressed up.. let me see if I can find them.

I love New Balance. They go with everything and anything. Try shoebuy. They're having 25% off now till the 30th.

Funny, DS's first shoes were those brown ones you posted along with blue sneakers for play shoes.

Re: Toddler boys shoes
Hey Cat!I bought s a pair of sauconeys in the fall that I plain on keeping him in for a while. They are comfy and cute and really good quality. I bought them at a local store in town and spent close to 50:0 but have seen older styles much cheaper at stride rite outlets.
Last year I bought him a pair of RL dress shoes for the holidays and they were not comfy and he ended up wearing them just once. Never again
My sister is getting Santino a new pair of uggs for xmas. These were the absolute best last year. He wore them all winter..literally everyday into the spring. He loved them so much and I'm sure once I get those he will be in those the majority of the time..

Re: Toddler boys shoes
I'm not a shoe hound so DS has a limited collection. He has a bit of hand me downs, that I rarely keep or put on him. What he wears daily, that I've bought new, are white Keds sneakers and tan suede "chukka" boots like this but I think they are Kenneth Cole Reaction from Marshall's.
I've promised him a pair of furry crocs since he always wants to wear his crocs too!

Re: Toddler boys shoes
I hate how quickly they grow out of shoes as well. Esp since my boys have WIDE widths... I'm so limited to what I can get them, and where (I always go to Stride Rite outlet) THey each have 2 pairs of shoes. Brown "dressy" ones like the ones posted and pair of sneakers for play. (my boys INSIST on light up ones!)
Just a thought--- Whenever anyone asks me what to get them for a gift--I almost always suggest the Stride Rite Gift Card!

Re: Toddler boys shoes
DS has a pair of navy blue Stride Rite sneakers with velcro. I can't find a pic online, but they pretty much go with everything...

Re: Toddler boys shoes
I got DS shoes at stride rite outlet and i got him 2 pairs when they had their buy one get one 1/2 off a few months back -- a pair of white sneakers and a pair of brown like the one posted above that he can wear dressed up or down. I also got him a cheap pair of sneakers at bru that he wears all the time. Figures he loves the $8 shoes the best lol.
Now that hes 2, i'll be buying him nikes and pumas whenever famous footwear has their bogo 1/2 sales.

Re: Toddler boys shoes
DS has three pairs of shoes that he wears on a regular basis. I also bought him christmas shoes and snow boots. I have a bit of a shoe obsession.
Here are the three shoes he wears alot. Any of these would be fine for everyday use. The Nikes he has are the same style but not gray and black. The ones I have are gray, white and yellow. I just couldn't find a exact pic. Image Attachment(s):

Re: Toddler boys shoes
DS has a pair of brown shoes like those listed above and a pair of Saucony sneakers. My mom got both at the Stride Rite outlet.
I like to have more than one pair of shoes for him in case he gets them wet.

Re: Toddler boys shoes
DS has a lot, A LOT of shoes. I like to match shoes to the outfit perfectly, I am really really ana l about matching, color coordination, and him looking stylish lol. We are on a tight budget so everything is either a yard sale find in perfect condition for $1, a Once Upon a Child find with tags still on or bought on super clearance with coupons.

Re: Toddler boys shoes
DS has these from Target. They aren't the best quality but much cheaper than Stride Rite and he outgrows them quickly anyway.
