those who go to a gym routinely
what does your workout consist of?
i just started back and i've found myself doing the following
stretching
20 mins on the bike to warm up - about 4-5 miles depending on intensity
circuit strength training - i've been doing low weight, high reps (looking to burn cals and tone, not build muscle)
20 mins on elliptical

i usually stretch for a few minutes. (not long at all...) run for at least 3 miles, and do a circuit of 5 or 6 machines. i usually do free weights at home.

I only have about 1 hour. So I warm-up and run anywhere between 3-5 miles. Free weights alternating upper and legs, while the other muscle rests I do the other. Stretch and done. Depending on what muscles I trained and how many I got done I might skip strength between days.

I only get an hour too, or less. So on jogging days, I stretch for five minutes, walk for five minutes, then alternate jogging and walking for the rest of the time.
On other days, I do strength training for calves, abs, biceps, triceps, hip flexors, thighs, hamstrings. I do four sets of each and that takes me about a half hour. Then I walk & jog for another half hour.

right now all do is the shadow boxing class (about 4-5 times a week) and then on MOndays will do the 2-3 mile run after the class as well..i need classes, i lose interest on my own lol

Usually I go on the treadmill & run for about 40 minutes. Then I'll do a few of the machines, like ones to strengthen my leg muscles & also upper body. Then I stretch a little.

I usually run for 40 min. Then I do strength training for 30 min. I do arms and legs one day, abs and back the other. I go five days out of the week.

I've fallen into a rut so I am trying to switch it up... But my gym routine usually goes like this:
Monday HIIT or mediball for an hour then Zumba for 45 min
Tuesday If I make it the the gym in the AM I do Yogatone, but I usually don't make it till the PM so I do Zumba for 45 min
Wednesday Mega mix workout
Thursday's Skip the gym or I do the bike/elliptical for about and hour and a half
Friday Zumba in the AM and Zumba in the PM
Saturday Zumba
Sunday Day off
I would like to throw in more hitt or ab classes.... But I love my Zumba. Lol
