THANK YOU to whoever post about those alert sites - I was able to get 2 this morning from barnes & noble.com !
Barnes & Noble just cancelled my order for these! I am so fuming - I thought I had 2 secured, told people to get them games, etc. And now I got nothing :(

i got my grandaughter one over a mo. ago at toys r us I got lucky they only had two left when i got there, the salesman said they sold 58 of them in a half hour. so i would just keep watching there ads and get there early as possible, good luck I hope you get one. it is really neat.

I was in Target on Friday and the woman said they got 30 in, and there was a line at the door when they opened. I would get there at 8am every single day of the week if you want a chance at getting one.

Was at tru in carle place last night and i overheard the customer service people say they were getting a shipment of leap pads on 12/10.

I was at Target at 8am this morning and got one. I kept calling to see if they had any. Last night they said there was 2 of the purple one, but it was on the truck, which got unloaded overnight. I was happy to finally get one today for my daughter! Keep trying!

DH scored one through Amazon last night. He signed up for the alerts through one of those sites and jumped on it as soon as it became available.
