pre-k teacher gifts??

Do you give them? What do you give/how much do you ususally spend?? I would appreciate any input - never had to do this before! Thanks.

our class mom collected money for the class to give her a gift card and holiday flower arrangement.

i will probably get something else to go with it. i love her and she is great with DS. i am thinking a movie gift card and candy in a popcorn container from $1 bin at target.

as far as $ amount i would say whatever you can afford. the class collected $20 for the teacher and aides....i will probably spend another $15-20

Thanks. We don't have a class mom. I guess we're all on our own for a gift. I wasn't sure if they give them still.

Yes, I usually just get a gift card for $15 or $20.

The class mom asked for $20 per child to cover the teacher and teacher's aide. So $40 for me.

I'm also giving $10 DD gift cards to each of their "specials" teachers... Spanish, music, computers, librarian, phys ed, and aftercare.

I'll bring in a cookie platter for the office staff.

So total $110 tops. I'm thrilled I feel rich compared to the years of twins in FT daycare

DD's in a tot class, she's 2, and I'm doing bath and body works gift bags. They were $22 each. I usually do gift cards but B&BW had 30% off plus cash back from ebates.
