Re: School Districts

The highest ranked on the South Shore is probably Rockville Centre (South Side).

Massapequa! But if you are looking for a house, watch where you buy. Some of the houses in Massapequa park are in the Farmingdale school district.

I dont know anything about Farmingdale district but the part of Massapequa Park that is in the Farmingdale district is really nice. There are many really nice split level homes!!

Farmingdale is a good district.

If you look in Massapequa you should beware that East Massapequa is Amityville School District and in my opinion, you want to avoid it by all costs..

And don't always trust MLSLI when it says what school district the house is in. If you are really interested in a house call the school district and verify that it is indeed in the district.

These threads ALWAYS get ugly.

One person says so and so town sucks, someone who lives in that town gets bent, wash rinse repeat.
