PCOS - anything in particular working for you?
So I was diagnosed with PCOS. My doctor told me to possibly lose about 10 pounds to see if that will help regulate my periods. I've tried clomid and no luck.
I know everyone is different. But just curious if anyone has tried any all natural supplements that helped....or any advice? TIA!

What amount of clomid have you tried, because I did not respond to 50, 100 or 150. I had to do 200 mg to get a response. I tried metaformin which didn't help me. Best of luck

Clomid dint work for me either....I got all the way to 150 and nothing!! Right now I am doing injectable follistim, I am growing follicles....but my cycles areLONG. They upped my dosage this month and added metformin. Hoping this works otherwise we are moving onto IVF in a few months. If you have any questions FM me:)

I ovulated on Clomid but only made 1 follie a cycle. Metformin did nothing for me but give me the runs. Ultimately, I responded very well to Femera/injectibles (Gonal-F) and Gonal-F alone. GL!

Re: PCOS - anything in particular working for you?
I found out I had PCOS before we were TTC so I went on BCP to regulate my periods. Yea that didn't help.....I take clomid (which works) and then get the trigger shot to shorten my cycles. Still nada though.

Re: PCOS - anything in particular working for you?
Clomid does absolutely nothing for me even after losing 35 pounds...i am on metformin which did nothing alone but responding very well to the lowest does (75 mg) of follistim. I go back in tomorrow to see where my 14mm eggie yesterday is at, i had a bunch of smaller ones too.

Thanks girls!
I started running again so hopefully losing a few pounds will help, my doctor suggested no more then 10 since I'm on the leaner side.
I ordered a PCOS diet book to learn about what foods to stay away from.
