...people who write in all caps?
why do you feel the need to press the caps button for the whole sentence??

But, it does bother me to no end when people write in all caps. Not just the occasional instance, but when people ALWAYS write in all caps.

totally guilty of this on message boards and facebook.
i can't be bothered.
however, interestingly enough, i just had a more "in-depth" conversation on fb and i found myself capitalizing, punctuating, etc. but we were discussing something serious.
so i guess when i'm talking about something serious or that really matters, IMO, then i type grammatically correct. otherwise i'm a total slacker.
ETA: but to answer the OP's question - yes, i find people who type in all caps annoying. i take it as they're yelling. the only time i use it is when i'm trying to place emphasis on a particular word in a sentence thereby creating "tone" (to some extent) to my post.

exactly. but i have half a brain, so in formal situations like work emails, i obviously use caps (when appropriate).
it's like a different mode.
