in a reading rut - need suggestions!
I cannot seem to find a book I want to read right now. I started Wicked and I am just not feeling it. I started the first cookie stack house and put it down. I read the dragon tattoo series and twilight recently and I liked the pull of a good series. Any suggestions - series or just good reads? TIA!

Re: in a reading rut - need suggestions!
I tried Wicked and could not for the life of me get into it. I tried twice and still can't get past the first two chapters.
I loooooooved Hunger Games. Seriously loved it. I also really like the Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead and the Morganville Vampire series by Rachel Caine. I'm knee deep in Morganville right now and I'm loving it! Some other good reads are One Day by David Nicholls, Water for Elephants by Sarah Gruen, and The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.
Sometimes when I find I'm in a reading rut, I need to read something silly, quick, and light to get me back into it and enjoying it. For this, I suggest anything by Jen Lancaster or Chelsea Handler. Hysterical!

I was just bored and browsing around on goodreads and I thought of another book you might like! Since you liked Twilight, check out The Host by Stephenie Meyer. I was eh about reading it at first but I truly loved the book. Just thought I'd mention it!

For a quick read, since you liked Twilight, have you read The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner? It's a spinoff of Eclipse. It's a novella, quick to read and very good. Or if you want to go in the opposite direction for something easy to read, but very addictive, read the Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy. LOVE LOVE LOVE those books!

I'm a HUGE series novel reader. They are my favorite!!!
Maybe try the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon? It's not YA...but it's got a great romance/time travel storyline. It's one of my favorites!

Same here - tried Wicked a couple of times and couldn't get into it...
I am reading Shanghai Girls by Lisa See right now and like it so far! Story about 2 sisters in the 1930s who come to America with arranged marriages.
