Re: If you see a social worker or therapist, etc...
Well you already know how I feel but I'm going to tell you again. I don't think you should feel awkward about bringing it up. She is the one who put herself out there, gave you her email, said you could text. There's an expectation that she would at least RESPOND considering she did that. I think there needs to be expectations cleared up and maybe boundaries set (not that you're overstepping boundaries- but you need to know if she has any).
I think if you talk about it and the issue is resolved, you wont feel like she doesnt care. I think most SWs are in it because they genuinely care for people, and besides, who wouldnt like you!?\
If she doesnt respond satisfactorily, maybe its a sign to look for someone else.

I think when talking to someone you should feel 100% comfortable, you may need to find someone else Who are you seeing? Do they specialize in family/infertility?

You should be able to talk about anything to your therapist.

This is what I was going to say. I think you should be able to talk to your therapist about anything. She's a therapist, she knows that things are bothering you and you should be able to open up about anything and everything. Think about it, if you were to ask her what you should do, what would her advice me and then try it that way.
