Medicated IUIs
How aften are you monitored with a medicated IUI? Also, do you always use HCG shot with medicated IUI? What about Ganarelix?

Re: Medicated IUIs
I was monitored very frequently.. prob about every other day, and then every day. I wasn't responding to the Gonal-F as much as they would have liked, so they had to keep increasing my dosage, so IDK if that much monitoring is the norm. I triggered with the HCG shot 2 days before my IUI.

Re: Medicated IUIs
I used to go on CD10 and had mature follies so Id trigger that night. Once they didnt see any so I went back 2 days later and 1 was there. I know some people go back every day or every other depending on how they are responding.
Some Drs have you use OPKs and wait for a peak but others have you trigger anso its more timed.

Re: Medicated IUIs
depends on your doctor. mine does it like this: cd 3 cd 10 depending on how the follies look at cd 10, i may come back in another day or 2. then i may be ready for the iui the day after that or need another day or two of stims
i always trigger because of my issues- im not sure whether your doc will have you trigger or not
ganirelix shuts off your LH. I dont know many doctors who use it outside of IVF cycles although I have used it for IUI cycles because my LH is incredibly high. There are a couple of girls on here who have used it for IUI cycles if you do a search.

Re: Medicated IUIs
At first I was monitored what felt like constantly. Once they got my cycles down, I went in once after taking clomid (I think around CD 10?) and then I'd go in again CD16 for the HCG trigger. My cycles are very odd though. I always got the trigger b/c I don't ovulate on my own.
