I miss the old WW points plan
I am in no way, shape or form, a person who blames the diet for not being successful, when I am not adhering to it. I have been back on WW for a few weeks, and my results have been pathetic. On the old plan, I would consistently lose, but on PP, the weight will not come off and now I think I know why. I have been doing everything I should be, including using a digital scale to measure all of my portions down to the grams, not using more than 15 of my weekly points a week, and not eating my activity points. My leader said, "maybe you're not eating enough." So i ate all of my weekly points. Nope, still not losing. So for laughs, I decided to measure out my calories yesterday. I logged my points and then jotted down my calories for a grand total of 2,100 No wonder I am not losing!!! I am now trying myfitnesspal for a week and seeing if just counting calories will help. This is the first time I have not been successful on ww. At one point, I had lost 60 lbs.

Re: I miss the old WW points plan
Agreed. Less points to use but everything went up in points! I qlost a lot pre-preg w/the old plan and have done the new plan with not as good results. and i don't know the points value in anything anymore. To get the low point meals is just impossible. 4 and 5 pt dinners are now 7 and 8 pts. DH and I are really back on track now and it stinks/

Re: I miss the old WW points plan
I do not like the new plan either. I do not eat any extra points and stick to 29! Mind you I exercise 5 times a week and burn at least 600 calories per workout go figure! At first they told me to eat 29 + 6 for maintenance plus the other pts ha I gained immediately!

Re: I miss the old WW points plan
I'm knocking on wood, here, but I lost a good amount my first week back on the new plan..I don't know if it was a clear head or what but I also feel like I've been eating more fruit and veg (well, the fruit) since it's 0 now and it's more of a go-to, if that makes sense..I hope you figure it out!

I lost a decent amount my first week, but started gaining after. I'm giving good ol' calorie counting a try to see if it works better. Fingers crossed!!

Re: I miss the old WW points plan
And another thread reminded me, on the old plan, I'd be hungry for about the first week. On the new plan, three months in, and I was still starving every day. We'll see how it goes this time.

Re: I miss the old WW points plan
So glad to see this thread. I thought I was the only one. I had much more success with the old plan. I am averaging about a pound per month.
