There's actually a few things that sound pretty good- but pretty much only the stuff from the Capitol! Chat Icon

I think it's duck or goose, but they definitely do! I'll look it up when I go home! Chat Icon

Re: Hunger Games Fans

Chat Icon I kept forgetting to come on here and share the recipe, but they use turkey in place of groosling.

Here's Rue and Katniss's Apple-Smoked "Groosling"

-1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
-2 Tablespoons Water
-1 Tablespoon Paprika
-1 Tablespoon kosher salt
-1 Tablespoon Lemon Pepper
-1/4 teaspoon marjoram (Whatever that is! LOL!)
-2 turkey breast halves

1. Combine vinegar, water, paprika, salt, lemon pepper, and marjoram in a glass jar and shake to blend.

2. Place turkey breasts in large Ziploc bag. Pour marinade over turkey and carefully seal the bag, removing most of the air. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.

3. (This is the best part! Chat Icon) Build an indirect fire in a kettle grill or water smoker and add 3 or 4 water-soaked apple-wood chunks to the fire.

4. Remove turkey breasts from marinade and place on indirect-heat side of the grill/smoker. Slow smoke at 225 degrees for about 1 1/2- 2 hours or until thermometer registers 165- 170 degrees F. The turkey will retain a slightly pink color from the slow smoking and the wood.

Chat Icon Do you think I could find a DIY tutorial for an indirect fire in a kettle grill on Pinterest?! Chat Icon

ETA: They also have a "Spicy Wild Groosling Chili"! Chat Icon
