Re: no carb appetizers
you can also do deli meat and cheeses, but instead of bread to make a hero, just roll them up together, like a slice of meat and a slice of cheese and have them as little rolled finger foods, or you can do lettuce wraps.

Re: no carb appetizers
love the deli meat roll up idea! Love Turkey Roll ups!
I love veggies and dip--but remember the carbs in veggies can add up too! Not sure of the specifics of 17DD so I don't know if that's something you have to watch out for!
These are great too! http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/01/bacon-wrapped-chicken-bites.html

Re: no carb appetizers
Watch out for the store bought hummus, I thought it would be low card but when I read the label it said it had about 5 g in 2 tbsp. If you have a small amount it is fine, but just watch it.

Re: no carb appetizers
Not sure about carb content of pineapple, but I love pineapple wrapped in bacon. And so easy to make...just buy canned chunk pineapple, wrap in 1/2 slice of bacon, secure with toothpick and bake until bacon is cooked. Love the sweet & salty mix!

Re: no carb appetizers
stuffed mushrooms - just chop up the stems and stuff instead of using breadcrumbs. you can put crabmeat in them too!
