NEED 1st Birthday Party help!!
I need some ideas for where to have the babies 1st birthday party. They will be one the end of March so its not that nice out usually (although we are having a crazy warm winter thus far) but anyhow I would appreciate recommendations for restaurants or venues and themes. Boy/girl is not as easy as I thought it would be when choosing a "theme" She is a very girlie girl and he a rugged little man. We are keeping it small 50 or less people easily. Thanks in advance ladies!!!

Re: NEED 1st Birthday Party help!!
Is this mostly for adults/family, or is it for a bunch of 1 year olds? I am suggesting themes that would be more appropriate for adults rather than a children's party.
-A "How Sweet It Is To Be One" or a "Sugar and Spice" or a "Candy Land" Party: Three different names, all the same concept. This can be a dessert party, or serve regular food but then have a huge candy/dessert buffet at the end. All babies are sweet whether they are boys or girls and the candy buffet can be in gender neutral/span the rainbow colors, or all pink/red candies and then blue/green candies to represent each child.
-Circus Theme: Can be decorated with bright colors and animal prints. You can have fun centerpieces that are circus themed.
-A "Thing 1 and a Thing 2" Party: Dr.Seuss, Cat in the Hat or just books in general party. Depends where you want to take this, what you do with it.
-Pooh's 1st Birthday: Every gender likes Winnie The Pooh, and I bet you could find a lot on this theme.
-Simply a "Happy 1st Birthday" Party: Pick your own food theme, or color scheme, and the cake can be in the shape of a 1 or with the number 1 on it as the main focus. Make it a fun, festive birthday.
