Root Canal Cost?
Curious how much you have paid for a root canal. Not the post and crown, just the procedure itself. Without insurance. Thanks!

Re: Root Canal Cost?
it depends on where the tooth is located. is it a anterior, bicuspid or a molar tooth? depending which tooth it is depends on the price.
anterior tooth = 1 canal bicuspid tooth = 2 canals molar = 3/4 canals.
most dentist will charge you at least for the exam and 2 xrays of the tooth. i know of a dentist that i highly recommend in the nyc that is extremely reasonable and amazing as a dentist. you would be shocked at the prices for this nyc office. fm if you would like his #

Re: Root Canal Cost?
Check out edpdental.com
I found this on their site With EDP Root Canal - Anterior $600 $279 Root Canal - Bicuspid $800 $345 Root Canal - Molar $900 $459
I have EDP. For $99 per year, a little more for a couple and if you get it for a few years at a time, it's less - you save A LOT of MONEY!
Some dentists who take their plan give you a FREE Cleaning with EDP - with that it pays for itself the entire year and you continue to save on any other things you need done.
For someone who ALWAYS has something wrong with my teeth, it was a great investment.
Example - I need very extensive dental work. I was quoted by my dentist $8,500 - it would have been $17K if I didn't have EDP. He said you would be surprised at how many people don't even realize how much they can save with it.
