Show Me Your Stair Treads or Runners

We have hardwood throughout most of our house (except the bedrooms) and I want to put something on the stairs but, I am not sure whether I want a runner or stair treads - I'm not good at visualizing.

Can you show me pics that you may have?

I just ordered a stair runner this weekend from G Fried Carpet. I love Sisal on the stairs or a bold carpet choice ( which the cut into a stair runner). I'm not a fan of the traditional runners.

Here are a few examples of Sisal on the stairs and some other bold prints.

I'm not a fan of stair treads, runners make it look complete and dressier.

These pictures are both Sisal, one is serged on the edges and the other is with a border ( which gives it a more casual feel)
