40th Birthday Party
I could use some help. A friend of mine is turning 40 and her husband is throwing her a 40th bday party. I'm just not sure what to get her. We are good friends (get our sons together once in awhile, go out to dinner every few months, etc.) but I wouldn't consider us super close. I'm drawing a blank and any help would be super appreciated! TIA!!

We just got this for our friend's 35th, and he LOVED it.

eta- I'm sorry, I completely misread the original post. I thought the party was for the husband, not your friend.
In that case, I would create her a basket of candles, scents, lotions etc. I love giving baskets, and you can purchase things from the dollar store/marshalls/homegoods while keeping the costs down.

I think a Coach Key Ring is a great gift for a 40th bday! You don't have to spend a lot of money because they run from $25-$50. It's always nice to get a gift from a nice store like that and not break the bank!

For my 40th, I got Los of spa stuff, mani/pedis, GC to restaurants, GC to bloomies and Saks. the range was from40-$50 dollars.
