fish taco recipe?

Does anyone have an easy, yummy fish taco recipe? I have never made them before.

i grill tilapia with old bay seasoning and shred it with a fork

make mango salsa with mangos, onions, cilantro...

serve it on warm corn tortillas with shredded red cabbage & tons of lime juice

i want them right now! yum!!

I make them with grilled salmon squirted with fresh lime, an Asian slaw (use Asian dressing on shredded cabbage and carrots) and mix cilantro and sour cream for a topping.

I made all of these one night for a dinner party, you can pick & choose the 'sides' - i made the slaw & the 2 salsas but you can pick and choose. The fish tacos were a bit spicy but the ginger/lime sour cream was a great compliment

Fish Tacos
•2 lb mahi-mahi
•1/4 cup olive oil
•3 tbsp lime juice
•5 tsp chili powder
•1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
•1 1/2 tsp ground coriander
•1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
Combine the oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, coriander, garlic. Coat the mahi-mahi with the marinade. We cut it into 4 pieces to grill & grilled about 4-5 min per side.

Assemble with slaw or salsa & drizzle with ginger/lime sour cream

Ginger Lime Sour Cream
•1/3 cup sour cream
•1 tablespoon lime juice
•1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger root
•1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
•1 dash cayenne pepper
Whisk all together & drizzle over fish tacos


Tomato And Avocado Salsa
•4 plum tomatoes, chopped
•2 ripe Hass avocadoes, peeled, pitted, and diced
•1/2 small red onion, finely chopped
•1 serrano chili, finely diced
•1 -2 l juice of lime(s)
•2 tablespoons canola oil
•1 -2 teaspoon(s) honey
•3 tablespoons chopped cilantro leaves
•salt & freshly ground black pepper
Combine all

Red Cabbage Slaw
•1/4 cup rice vinegar
•1 tablespoon sugar
•2 tablespoons canola oil
•1/4 head red cabbage, finely shredded
•1 large carrot, cut into fine julienne
•1/4 cup cilantro leaf, chopped
•salt and pepper
Combine all

Pineapple Mango Salsa
•1 large mango - peeled, seeded and diced
•1 cup diced fresh pineapple
•1 avocado - peeled, pitted and diced
•1 jalapeno pepper, minced
•1 cup chopped fresh cilantro

I marinate either tilapia or mahi mahi in:

EVOO
Lime juice
fresh garlic, chopped/pressed
chili powder
chipotle chili powder
black papper
old bay seasoning
groud cumin
honey

Then grill outside or in grill pan on the stove.

Topped with:

Broccoli slaw:

broccoli slaw mix
little ranch dressing
lime juice
honey
light sour cream
old bay seasonling
chili powder
cumin
chipotle chili powder
black pepper

Black beans:
made with onion, garlic powder and cilantro

I marinate mahi mahi in the jack daniels teriyaki marinade
Grill the fish, grill slices of mango and slightly grill the tortilla. Just add the fish mango and some avocado to the tortilla.
