If your LO sleeps with stuffed animals...
Do you tske them away and out of the bed when they fall asleep? We took the paci away from DS and now he sleps with 2 stuffed animals. DH thinks we should take them out in case they end up on his face or something.

How old is your LO? DD is 8 months old and sleeps with 2 stuff animals in her crib since 6 months.

29 months! I keep telling DH hes a big boy and will move if he cant breathe but hes paranoid.

My 10 month old DD has a very small animal in her crib, nothing else. My 3 year old has a small zoo in his bed. I don't take them out at bed time.

He's over 2 years old! Hell be FINE!!!
DS is 6 mos and sleeps with a blanket and 2 stuffed animals by his feet.

Like AP, my 2 year old also has a small zoo. It's literally about 8 or 9 animals, plus 2 lovies. I was neurotic and didn't let him have anything in there until about a year, when we let him have one small lovey. Around 18 months or so, we allowed him a couple animals and it has just kept growing! We don't take them out.

I'm pretty sure my 19 mo DD has 6 animals in her crib right now. She also has 3 different blankets. I'm sure he'll be fine.

My DD has a bunch in her crib and 3 or 4 blankets. I constantly try and sneak the out but she knows, especially if one of her blankets are mising.

We took DD's pacifier away when she was 12 months old and I replaced it with a small stuffed animal. I was so paranoid in the beginning - i checked the monitor like I use to when she was a newborn. But now at 20 months, she is passed out with 6 stuffed animals in her crib. It took a little time but I am now relaxed about the stuffed animals. I still dont allow a blanket or pillow

She sleeps with 3 stuffed animals, even if they were right on her face, they are too small & light weight to get in the way of her breathing.

My DS is 6 months and I have recently started letting him sleep overnight with a stuffed animal. i think he will be ok since he rolls around all night and sleeps on his back, side and tummy.
What I have been keeping in his crib for a while is other types of toys that make me feel more comfortable such as a ring from his ring stacker, etc. He likes to play with them before he falls asleep and when he wakes up!

At that age, DS was sleeping with a lot of stuffed animals. He has a full sized bed that's filled with stuffed animals. We've never had any issues.
