Giving DC Baths if you have shower doors?
When my DD was little we lived in an apartment and had shower curtains.
Now that we have baby #2 on the way we are in a house with shower doors.
I feel like it is going to be way harder to give the baby a bath with those shower doors. Because of it being a small bathroom and the sink being right next to the tub, one side of the tub will be barely usable...we will have to access the child through the other side of the tub...which is further away from the faucet.
Is it really as difficult as it looks like it is going to be? Does anyone else have shower doors and find it no problem at all? Does the shower door track make it more difficult when you are leaning into the tub to wash your DC?
Is it worth it to remove the shower doors completely and use a shower curtain instead?? There will be holes from the track in the tub, do they get filled in with something?

I moved from a house with no shower doors to shower doors when DS was 18m It is annoying especially when DS doesn't want to wash his hair, but convenient when he's playing he doesn't get the bathroom wet. I personally don't like to doors but I don't see us removing them anytime soon

i found it annoying too, but kinda got used to it. i think about removing them all the time, and then the issue with the damage the rails caused sets in, and i deal. although we do not have the sink up against the tub like that, the bathroom door opens right there and is a PITA, but I deal.
when we do finally remodel, i will not go with shower doors.
oh, and i use a folded up beach towel over the rails when i bathe ds. DH doesn't use anything when he bathes him.

I agree with the previous posts.
Its a little annoying and I wish they weren't there....certainly would be easier without them...but not so bad that I'm removing them anytime soon.
My DD runs to the other side to escape me. But when she gets to "splashy" I just close the doors a little more!
I can access her from either end...depending on which side I slide the doors to and I throw a towel over the track so I can lean on the edge.

We had the shower doors too in our tub when we had our kids. I hated it! Yes, the rail gets in your way, I couldn't get close enough to the faucet since the toilet up up that way...
I asked DH to take the doors down and then the tracks. Then we put up a curtain. Best move we ever did. There are only one or two holes in the tile where the track was and on the tub, we just had to scrap off a lot of caulking.
