fresh beat band
Is anyone going to the concert with a child under 2 and if so did you buy them a ticket? I purchased 3 tickets one for myself, hubby and 2.5 yr DS. It said on the FFB website children under 2 were free but after looking on the westbury music fair website i noticed it said everyone needs a ticket no matter what age.. I am nervous now that they will not let my DD in.

one of my dd's is under 2 and yes i bought her a ticket because that is what the theatre said is necessary.....some theaters say no its up to you whether you want to and some theaters say "everyone needs a ticket" which ours said

Holy Crap! Did you guys buy through Live Nation? On the site it says children under 2 don't need a ticket, so I'd imagine that this will be a huge problem!
ETA: This theater is owned and operated by Live Nation, so I'm SO confused and upset now.

nope bought through stub hub and beforehand i checked the theaters faq about the age and then called the theater and they confirmed that everyone does need a ticket

Ok this was my fear! So i printed out the part on live nation that said under 2 was free and was going to bring it with me..For those of you who called Westbury what number did you call? I tried the main and could not get anyone..this stinks..I think its crazy to have to spend 50 for a ticket when she is not even going to sit in a seat..

the tickets were crazy priced for westbury when we tried to get tix later than they went on sale hence why we got tix for a theater outside ny...i checked live nations website under faq and this what i found.....i would keep trying to call and tell them that you found something on their website that is conflicting and what r they gonna do about this....good luck

If it's a children's show, such as The Wiggles or Sesame Street Live, then yes - usually all kids need a ticket to get in.
For all other events, it depends. Rules vary from venue to venue and from event to event. Search by venue at the top of any page on LiveNation.com, then look for an FAQs tab or call the box office number for more information.

it said all over the Live Nation page (when ordering) that children under two years of age did NOT need a ticket. I will loose my shit if we get there and need a ticket.

it says on live nation-- every child OVER the age of 2 requires a ticket. Im not stressing it I dont think they will give you a problem.

Good idea - I'm going to do the same. I can't get through to a live person at the Westbury Theater, either.

not sure wht number there but I also called live nation(ticketmaster) and they said the same thing.. I had to find a sitter for DS.. Not worth ruining DD's bday surprise!!

That is crazy. I did not but DS a ticket because it said children under 2 do NOT need one. I would have bought him one if it didn't say that. I am going to lose it if they don't let him it. My babysitter is my mom and she is coming with us because DH is working. There is no way I could bring both kids to the concert by myself.

how could they say one thing on their website and another when u call---that is false advertisement, right? we have been so looking forward to this! i would have bought a tix had i known! i want to enjoy the day not be fighting trying to get in-
for those of you who didn't buy a tix for your under 2 LO--which show r u going to? we r going to the 4pm show
I'd like the phone # too if anyone has it please post it!

That's for sure. Why would I buy a ticket for my 1 year old when it says on live nation every child over the age of 2 needs a ticket. I'm fumming right now!!!! I would of bought another ticket!
