Attn: Travel Agents/Grand Canyon
i'm planning a trip to Vegas and want to see the Grand Caynon. I'm staying with a friend outside of the strip.
I don't want to take a bus trip, we will be driving her car.
I see you can get to the bottom via helicopter but I don't want to do that. I'm having trouble finding out if you can drive down to the base yourself?

you can not drive to the bottom of the grand canyon.... you can take a donkey/mule ride
