DDI not responding to calls?
I've heard great things about DDI, but I called months ago trying to inquire about the mommy and me group there and no one responded to my several messages. I called yesterday to schedule a tour and no one responded (Ronkonkoma location). This makes me hesitate to even consider the school, though I hear great things.
Has anyone had this issue w/ DDI?

It does take them a while to call back but they will. I ran into that when I was also trying to book a tour. Mommy and me class as you referring to toddler talk? If so I may be able to answer some questions since my oldest DS went to it and now my youngest DS is in it. Just be patient I know it stinks that they aren't quicker to call back but they will.

I thought you weren't able to tour DDI unless they had an opening. That's what my EI service coordinator had told me. DDI called me when they had an opening and we toured.

Thanks! I meant toddler talk, but I decided to just enroll him in a different class when they never got back to me.

Really? Even for Fall start? Wouldn't they have a new class beginning in Sept? I really want to like it, because I didn't love Alternatives, but DDI never gets back to me.

Alternatives is actually really great. I didn't like it either but a friend suggested it after her son went there. My oldest has been going since June and let me tell you has made so much progress. Even the teacher told me he is a different kid then came into her class in June. Now I am trying to get my younger son into the 3 year old program in Sept. Alison there preschool director (I think that is her title) is great and will help you in any way possible.
