Butcher in Oakdale/Sayville
Can you recommend a good one? I'm new to the area, and hosting Easter dinner. Not sure where to go for a leg of lamb. Thanks!

I live in the area and go to Cow Palace in psychotherapy on River Ave. We love their meat.

I always wanted to try Cow Palace...glad to see the good recommendations.
I also love Associate's Market on 112 in Medford.

Cow Palace is very good so is Storks over in East Islip.

Storks is gone. It's now an Italian pork store I think.
I really like the butcher in Islip on Main St.

That's kind of sad...
ETA: I mentioned Storks because they have a location near me in Babylon that we used to go to and I'm pretty sure it is still open. But now I'm curious so I will have to pay closer attention the next time I'm over there.
