Crib and Dresser selection - Recommendations?
Okay, well I am already in my 24th week and havent purchased a crib or dresser yet. I have been on modified best rest, so been difficult - but I have narrowed my choices down to:
- Echelon - Cambridge - we loved the drawers, but they were narrower than others that we saw - and im not sure if its too bulky
- Munire - Coventry - i like the crib and dresser but the drawer glides were not the nicest, just plain without child proof
- Bellini - Alex crib and Jessica dresser - I like the curves of the crib and the drawers of the dresser
and we just went to Baby Depot to check out and my husband loved the
- Suite Bebe - Hampshire crib and combo dresser - the drawers were really nice, crazy how they were nicer than the more expensive Munire dresser, but I am not sure of the quality overall if its the same as Munire or worse. I also originally wanted a crib with a curved headboard to it and this one is straight. This was actually in stock though.
Im sorry for writing so much! Please let me know if anyone has any recommendations or thoughts. I am getting nervous about delivery times though as well.
Thank you for your help!!!

DH and I loved the Echalon Sonoma. I liked the way the drawers closed and how it was made. I dont know that I looked at any of the others you listed

Nice - did you end up purchasing it?
I was getting nervouse about the delivery dates being lagged but I am hoping since some of the pieces are in stock that it willl arrive sooner.
I am still not sure of which one to purchase. Thank you!

Re: Crib and Dresser selection - Recommendations?
i looked in the baby bargains book and I found out the Echalon and Munire are the same company which is interesting cause it was between those 2 for me. We did wind up getting it and ordered it in the begining of Feb and 2 weeks later it was partially in. We are waiting for the hutch and then we will schedule delivery. But I learned they make Echalon in the USA so maybe thats why it came in so fast.. Behr's told me on average the furniture comes in 8-12 weeks. I just wanted to be able to decorate the room before I got too big.
Good luck either way I think your choices you cant go wrong.

Re: Crib and Dresser selection - Recommendations?
Thank you for your help - one think i noticed is the drawers in the Cambridge dresser were narrower than others. Its frustrating that I did love that dresser the most, but the storage actually seems lesser even though the piece is larger in size.
Your due in June? So exciting! Im due in July and am already on moderate bed rest. Hoping that I can start moving around more soon!

Re: Crib and Dresser selection - Recommendations?
Hi! I ended up ordering the Echelon Cambridge crib and dresser. It was between that and the Munire Coventry piece and the Echelon seemed better made and had so much detailing. I hope it will fit in the room nicely!
