Strange question about dogs
I do not know if this is normal and it may be a really dumb question but I feel like the color of my dogs belly has changed..it used to be a pale color and now it is very dark? Is that an age thing or am I just nuts

Hmmm well.... I have no idea if it's a thing.... but I don't *think* any of my dogs' bellies have changed colors growing up. My collie has a pink belly with some darker spots on them and it's still the same way from when he was a baby. Same thing with Lucy except her nipples stick out more.

My Sam.. when he was a pup, had a light pink tummy - and now at about 4 years old, it has changed to a much darker pink..
My vet never said anything about it, so I assumed it was normal 'aging'.

As long as the skin is the same in character as before, ie no crusts or red raised bumps, this pigment change can be completely normal. It's actually quite common.
