Definite symptoms but BFN? in hiding -- sorry!
My first time in hiding. I am a very regular poster but want to feel free to ask questions like this without worrying who sees it. \\
I'm 11 DPO. Been feeling bloated like AF is coming and have AF cramping twinges since yesterday. Constant dull ovulation pain since 4DPO and worse today at 11DPO. NO spotting which is always very heavy by now --- AF due saturday. Lots of EWCM today and I have been phlegmy like a cold is coming the last week also but it has not turned into anything. Tested last night at 10DPO and definite BFN. I was shocked I thought I def was. My first pregnancy a few years ago I got a + at 13DPO, first test I took. This time I am just too antsy. Do you think 10DPO was just too early? Anybody have the bloating, ov pain symptoms in the 2ww and get a pos preg test? Maybe I should have posted this on pregnancy ---- TIA.

it is still early - test again tomorrow
Unfortunately the symptoms arent always accurate...i had what i thought was every possible pregnancy symptom last week but AF came with vengeance

10dpo is still early -- a lot of people don't get positives this early.
As for the cold symptom -- I had that and got a BFP. I would try to wait till 13dpo to test again
 
Also we tend to read into every twinge, ache, pain, cough when we are TTC -- I have been pregnant 3 times in a year and each time I had TOTALLY different symptoms so you really never know

and to add to that... there was a post recently from someone who knew they werent pregnant and had all the same symptoms that people could be pregnant had... they dont mean anything...

Thank you I was going to test tomorrow morning at 12DPO but I think I will try to wait until Friday morning at 13DPO. I only have 2 tests left! I'm sitting here so incredibly bloated --- feeling that constant ache in my ovary -- this is what makes me so hopeful but the BFN just knocked me down last night and made me think it is all in my head. Then I get nervous there could be something wrong - a cyst or something like that. UGH the 2ww stinkssssss

10DPO is too early and signs are meaningless. every cycle there is elevated progesterone involved so every cycle has the potential to produce a million random symptoms that mimic pregnancy symptoms. theres no surefire rhyme or reason other than a positive test/beta. good luck, you are def not out yet!

TY!! I somehow didn't test this morning- AF-like cramping pretty much woke me up before my alarm and I was 99% sure I would see her when I went to the bathroom but nothing- not even spotting. I brought a test with me to work  but going to try not to use it. Didn't know if I could go the whole day without knowing..The bloating is out of control today too- I am hopeful but not , weird feelings. Would you test today at 12DPO with my symptoms or wait until tomorrow morning with fmu? ? ??

I'm sorry but symptoms don't always mean anything. Our bodies and minds play tricks on us as we ttc and we are more in time with our bodies and every twinge cramp bloat that we experience in the 2ww
That being said you are not out till af arrives
How long did you hold your pee before the test? Could it have been diluted too much?

How long did you hold your pee before the test? Could it have been diluted too much?
I know-that's so true. But definitely feeling a lot differnet this 2ww so I was hopeful. I held it for 4 hours. Shouldn't have given in and waited til tomorrow with fmu. Ah well just $8 down the drain

This past month I had a super strange 2ww.. sore boobs, spotting, stuffy nose, cm, nausea at night, then a really late AF.. I couldn't believe it!! I wonder why it was so symptomatic and AF was horrible so maybe it was all hormonal from the start. Test again tomorrow to see!

Sorry it's a BFN. Hopefully next month will be it for you.
Try not to look into symptoms so much. Cramping at 4dpo is probably gas because it'd be too late to feel ovulation cramps and too early for implantation.

my only symptom was cramping. I waited till like 3 days after AF was due, then I tested and got my BFP

I went through this last month and thought for sure it was a BFP. Unfortunately, it wasn't AF was just a few days late and brought her symptoms early - how nice of her.
Wishing you good luck - you may be able to test again in another day or 2. Sometimes it can take a little while to get the BFP, especially if you O'd a day or two later than you think.

are you sure that you are 13dpo? are you temping? is it possible that you ovulated later than you think?

TY for all the responses! I haven't tested since Friday, AF was due sat and although she hasn't showed up yet I do have heavy spotting like usual before she does. I'm expecting her today or tomorrow. boo
I haven't had a late AF in the last few years but of course the month we actually "try" she decides to play around and come late.
