Post IUI symptoms (possible TMI, sorry)
So its been a while since I have even had the chance to try and concieve (due to my condition/diagnosis), but this month we got an opportunity. I OV late in my cycle but did with 2 follies. I used an Ovidrel trigger last Wed night with IUIs on Thursday and Friday morning. AF would be due Saturday, but with late OV I assume AF will follow suit.
My concern is, ever since Sat night I have felt bloated in my lower abdomin. On top of that, I have been getting some cramping consistantly throughout the day and still have pronounced CM (TMI, sorry!) I really dont know what to make of it. Its too early to be symptomatic for just about anything, so I dont know what is going on.
Does anyone have any input or suggestions? Could I still get AF this weekend being that I only OV 4 days ago?

I got a BFP on my first clomid IUI, and I didn't have the bloating but I did have CM the entire 2 weeks afterwards. Good luck!

are you on progesterone? if yes, it can cause some of those symptoms. If not, even better, might be implantation. Good luck!

I honestly have felt this way on most of my cycles... both positive and negative. It's so hard to look into signs when you're on a medicated cycle!
Good luck!!

I am currently on no medications. I just used the Ovidrel trigger. I have bloodwork scheduled for Wed morning to check my Progesterone level. In past cycles I have needed Progesterone supplements, but it hasnt been determined for this cycle.
Thank you for your responses! I have a tendancy to read into everything and anything when going through cycles, but this time just seems different. I really despise the 2WW.

I've done IUI's with no meds other than ovidrel and I found that the ovidrel made me very crampy. It could be from the ovidrel or it could be a good sign. Unfortunately there is no way to tell yet. You shouldn't get AF until about 14 days after your IUI. Good luck to you!

i can't separate the symptoms of the clomid and the IUI because this is my first go-around with both, but i'll tell you that i've been having unusually noticeable cramps and backache and with lots of watery CM nonstop since about CD8.
the nurse @ RSoNY said the high levels of estrogen caused by the clomid can make funny things happen, like extending my LP, which she said is likely. my chart has been all over the place. sono & BW says that all is going according to plan tho.
blame it on the hormones. tinkering with them makes funky things happen.
