What SPF do you use for your child?
DD is 9 months (well she'll be 9 months tomm) and I was just curious what SPF to use. Brands? SPF #? What would you recommend?

My ped recommended Neutrogena. I got SPF 60 for our DD but her skin is snow white and she has red hair. She won't be 6 mths for another few weeks but I wanted to have it on hand.

I use either Neutrogena or Aveeno - both SPF 60.

I use any kid friendly non teary/burning with spf 50 or above..

I use the Target version of Coppertone baby- it has the exact same ingrediants word for word.
It's SPF 50
DD is blessed with her daddy's Italian coloring so luckily she isn't as white and pastey as me and doesn't burn as easily!

You want to use a brand that uses minerals to block sun - titanium dioxide and zinc oxide.

I used to use Aveeno Baby but then it started clumping on DS skin. Now I just use any children's spray suntan lotion, SPF 50.
eta - I use the spray because I find it easier to apply. But I do reapply every hour or so.

I just bought this and used it today but it was hard to rub in. She still has some white streaks on her from this morning. My derm uses it on her kids.

Neutrogena SPF 55 or 60 - it has helioplex and that came highly recommended. I use the spray for their bodies and the lotion for their faces.
