2/3 day week summer preschool/summercamp
Does anyone know of any preschool or summer camps in the Levittown/East Meadow/Wantagh etc. area? I am considering not working this summer but would like to send ds to something a little bit! I already know about Kiddie Junction and am going to look into them but am open to considering others! Thanks!

are you east meadow school district? They have a great CAPE program its 3 days a week 9-12.

Merrick Community Nursery School (there were lots of East Meadow kids there when my son went the last 2 summers).
South Shore in Bellmore
My son's nursery school has a program in Bellmore - not sure if too far for you - United Methodist in Bellmore.

Here are some affordable camps I found
All of them are 4-6 weeks, depending on the camp.
Firehouse Co-op on North Jerusalem in East Meadow has a 3 or 4 day program. (3 hours per day somewhere in the $350-$475 I believe)
Glitterbugs on Hempstead Tpke in Levittown has a 2, 3, 4, or 5 day program. (2 hrs, 45 minutes - $160 for 2 days, $400 for 5 days)
McVey Elementary (at Franklin & Devon) in East Meadow has the CAPE program for 4+ yrs ($275 for 3 hours, 3 days, 3 classes per day)
Tender Shepard on East Meadow Avenue in East Meadow has a 2, 3, or 4 day program. 9-12 noon or 9-2pm.

Thank you so much for the info!!! I was looking for inexpensive places since if I am not working, I will not be bringing in extra money. These are great suggestions. I live in Levittown!

Hey Liz! You can drop him by my sitter who wont charge you alot but remember where I live.

I kinda wanted more of structure for him - not necessarily a sitter for the summer time! BUT...I would love to get the name of her from you. Jack's school ends two weeks before mine and my dad will be watching him by his house. If my dad could drop him off a couple hours a day, that would be awesome! Would you mind giving me her info?
