bored
Anyone else ever get bored with all this diet and fitness stuff??... I'm so uninspired by all the foods I eat that lately I don't even have an appetite anymore. It's great that I've lost 11 pounds in 3 weeks, but I'm starting to feel like i'd rather not eat than eat the foods i've been eating... It's not about variety bc I do eat alot of different foods, but egg whites, yogurt, kashi, whole wheat veggie wraps, and escarole and beans just aren't so appealing to me anymore? Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions for how to get out of this funk??

Re: bored
I'm obsessed with seeing the scale move down constantly, so even when I do get bored I try to remind myself of how successful I've been so far. I try a LOT of different recipes from Skinny Taste, that alleviates a lot of the boredom. Breakfast I don't care about b/c I am busy but lunch can be hard sometimes. I try to flavor a lot of my foods in ways that don't add a lot of calories, like adding hummus to sandwiches, or making tuna salad with relish. I hate salad so I never eat it, but I will eat a lot of meat-free soups that I make myself to cut down on the sodium.

Re: bored
I agree with a lot of what the pp said. I look to Skinny Taste for inspiration, since there's so many awesome recipes on there that don't compromise flavor. I also don't get too worked up over breakfast, as it's generally a frantic rush at that time of the day anyway.
I was getting so bored (and not seeing results) when I was eating low calorie frozen meals for lunch, so I switched that up. When I'm making dinner, I'll make homemade lunches for the week...so I have homemade turkey burgers on whole wheat, whole wheat pasta with sauce, homemade salads, chicken on whole wheat rolls with avocado, etc., so that keeps me entertained.
I don't like eating the same thing every day, so I don't do it. I rotate different fruits, different types of yogurt, nuts, etc. for snack.
