New Entry Door

Friends...

We are in the market for a New Entry Door (and storm door). I have done some preliminary research, including searching the forums here and have noticed people have used:

Elegant Entries
Tri State Window & Door
Windorama
Home Depot
Lowes

Anyone use any of the above? Have any specific feedback on the experience? How long did it take from selection to installation? Any insight on costs?

If you feel like being very generous, would love referrals and pictures!

We just got a brand new door from Tri-State. I think from start to finish it was 3 weeks, but only because I could only do Saturday install.

I have done a TON of work on my house - companies, contractors, landscapers, etc etc ........

I will tell you that, without hesitation, Elegant Entries was the WORST company I have ever ever dealt with and I would NEVER in a million years recommend them.

I have a $4k cutsom round top door - it is a piece of garbage, installed HORRIBLY, took 8 MONTHS ....then the messed it up again - I didn't get a call back until I wrote to the president of the company - had I known then, I would have cancelled the order - I could go on and on and on.

Last summer we had a few windows and all of our siding and gutters done by Tri State - THE BEST company I have dealt with - I will gladly hand over my payments to them over and over and over again - AMAZING customer service, knowledgeable salespeople, not pushy - everyone single person we dealt with from start to finish was fabulous - and the finished product is amazing !!

I will be calling them to replace the $4k piece of garbage soon -
