Pediatricians
Can anyone recommend a great pediatrician in Nassau county? I am looking into this now even though my son isn't due til september!

Dr. Rubin in Mineola is great - I got her recommendation from this board and I am couldn't be happier. She is also a lactation specialist so if you are going to breastfeed she is a def. asset.

He is part of a large practice of about 6 doctors and multiple NPs. Everyone in the practice is great. They have separate well and sick waiting rooms, do blood work on the premises, and have great hours for working moms. At each visit I never feel rushed. They take their time to answer even the smallest questions. And if I call with a question they get back to me quickly. They are also very close to me so location was key.
They have an orientation once a month for pregnant women and their families if you are interested, have more questions or just want to see the practice. Call and check them out!

Dr. Rubin is amazing. I am personally not a fan of big practices so I was looking for a smaller group with one or two doctors. I met Dr. Rubin (recommended by my Lamaze class instructor) and just loved her! She is patient, thorough, has a great bedside manner. She is also a mom to two young girls herself so she also offers insight as a fellow mother, not just a pediatrician. She was just voted best pediatrician on the Best of LI.

Love Dr. Rubin! It was between Dr. Lippman and Rubin. I loved Lippman when I use to go with the kids I babysat for. I chose Rubin because she is affiliated with the hospital where my son was born. She is amazing!!

We go to this practice too and like them a lot. Parking is kind of awful and the wait times can be kind of a pain, but other than that it's a great practice.

He's fabulous!!!!! I have nothing bad to say. I called emergency line on Sunday about my sons fever and he called me back within 2 minutes. He is so calm and friendly and I love how he explains and talks to you

Park Pediatrics on Jericho Tnpke. in Floral Park. We see Dr. Friedman for well visits, but have seen others when DS was sick and they are all great. I love that they have a well child and a sick child waiting area so the two aren't together.
