how to politely tell someone not to feed your kid from their nasty hands?
One of my pet peeves is when someone picks up a piece of food & tries to feed it into DS mouth. What's a nice way of telling them to never do that again?

I just say that I am crazy and don't ever touch food without washing my hands and ask if they would wash theirs before feeding DD.
People are ridiculous - if they have the nerve to try to feed a baby with nasty hands, I have no problem asking them to wash them. Don't think there is a "polite" way, but they way I see it, they are the rude one!

I dont have an answer, but I watched my MIL pick up a 1/2 drank bottle by the nipple and then put it one of my twins mouths!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes! I have seen people do the same thing with bottle nippes and paci nipples.

The thing is I don't even want them to think they can wash their hands & feed him like that. Why can't we/they just use a fork? This particular person is the kind that thinks she is everyone else's kids mother, you know? She has none of her own.

How old is your lo?
Can you just say, something like, let's let baby feed themselves. They need to learn to learn to do it too. haha, Or we are learning how to use spoon and fork, let's let them try.
Spin so it looks like the baby is learning.

Love this!  I feel like people are clueless & I'll probably have to whip a fork out every single time we see them.

He's 2. There was a platter on the table (out of his reach & wasn't asking for any food) & she proceeds to take it upon herself to grab some food & place it in his mouth. She was too quick for me.
