Home Alarm Systems?
Does anyone know how much it costs to install a home alarm system, and how much is it on a monthly basis? Also, can you recommend a good company? Thanks!

I just got a quote for $590 with All Island Security.
$26 a month
it includes:

the alarm system was here when i moved in, but we pay about $30/month with slomins.

We used Banner Alarm, we paid around $1600-1700 to have it all installed. They did an amazing job. All of our windows are armed as is every door and the attic hatch in the garage. We also have a motion sensor centrally located in the house. We are hooked up to central service and we pay $68 quarterly.
ETA - We have two keypads and a wireless key fob to arm the system as well.

We use Always on Security Solutions - monthly monitoring fee is $20
Your alarm system cost to install will depend on what you need to get - keypads, doors, windows etc.
